SIBERIAN HUSKY SLEDDOG
More than just an adventure

FAQ

Yes! All adults and children from 9 years and up will drive a sled pulled by 2, 3 or 4 huskies, depending on the participant's weight. After a short briefing, you will become the “musher” of your own sled, always followed by our instructor who will guide the route. Children aged 3 to 8 will instead enjoy the experience as passengers in the instructor’s sled bag, in total safety.

Of course! Our tours take place even during snowfall – it’s part of the experience! Sleddog activities are suspended only in case of heavy rain or very strong winds, as these could compromise safety or the dogs’ well-being.

No specific preparation is required, but good health is important. Sleddog is a real sport and, in our case, takes place at 2,000 meters altitude in winter conditions. To enjoy the experience to the fullest, it's essential to have decent physical condition and appropriate clothing.

Yes, a reserved parking area for our guests is located just across the street from the meeting point.

We recommend mountain clothing suitable for the snow: waterproof jacket and trousers, warm gloves, cap, sunglasses or ski goggles and boots with a good sole. Avoid trainers or cotton clothes. Sledding is stationary, so it is important to dress in layers to keep warm, especially on windy or very cold days.

For safety reasons, children ride exclusively on our expert instructor's sled. This way, we ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.

Since we are located at 2,050 meters above sea level, we always recommend having winter tires or snow chains on board.

Sorry, outside dogs are not allowed in the sleddog area. The presence of other dogs may disturb our Huskies and create confusion or unpleasant situations. For everyone's safety and well-being, we kindly ask not to bring external animals.

We recommend the restaurant Le Blason, located in the center of Breuil-Cervinia. A cozy place where you can enjoy traditional Valdostan dishes – perfect to complete your experience after the excursion.
